Real-time sync across desktop, mobile and the browser, with the encryption keys never leaving the devices you own.
Every device, always in sync
Real-time, encrypted sync across all your devices — desktop, mobile, and browser — so your files are wherever you need them.
Real-time sync
Changes propagate across your devices in seconds, not minutes. The moment you save a file on one device, it's available on all others.
All your devices
Native apps for iOS and Android, plus a full web client — your files are wherever you need them. Desktop apps are on the roadmap.
Automatic device backup
Pick folders on each device and Offkeep backs them up continuously in the background — no manual uploads.
Selective sync
Choose exactly which folders sync to which device. Keep large archives off your laptop while keeping them on your desktop.
File history
Every change to a synced folder is journaled, and the Time Machine timeline lets you restore past versions — full file history comes with paid plans.
Encrypted end to end
Synced files are encrypted on your device before they leave it. We store ciphertext, never plaintext — and never your keys.

Syncing FAQ
How fast is syncing?
Speed depends on your connection. Changes propagate in real time as they happen — there is no periodic sync to wait for.
Does syncing work offline?
Yes. Synced folders keep local copies on each device, so you can keep working while offline — changes are queued and sync automatically when connectivity is restored.
How are sync conflicts handled?
There is no automatic conflict resolution yet — it is on our roadmap. Because every change is journaled, the Time Machine timeline in each synced folder keeps past versions you can restore.
Is synced data encrypted?
Yes. Synced file contents are encrypted on your device before they leave it, with keys that only you hold.
How many devices can I sync?
As many as you like, on every tier. Offkeep bills for storage, not for seats or devices — signing in on another laptop or phone doesn't change what you pay.
